Manuscript Preparation

Before entering the design phase, manuscripts should be fully edited and proofread. Layout design focuses on visual structure and readability rather than content editing. Significant textual changes requested after layout completion may require additional adjustments and can be subject to extra fees.

 

Materials for a Quote

To receive an accurate estimate, you may submit either the complete manuscript or a representative sample chapter. This allows for a realistic evaluation of structure, complexity, and design requirements.

 

Required Project Details

When requesting a quote, please include the following information in your email:

• Book genre

• Total word count

• Whether imagery is included (or a text-only layout)

• Target publishing format (print, eBook, or both)

• Any specific timeline requirements

Providing these details helps ensure a precise and efficient proposal.

 

Pricing, Scheduling & Project Start

Final pricing and turnaround time are confirmed once the project scope and requirements are agreed upon. To secure scheduling and production time, the full project fee is required at the start of the project.

 

Cover Design Policy

For cover design projects, the eBook cover version is included. Hardcover adaptations and dust jacket designs are available upon request and may involve additional fees due to additional technical preparation.

 

Revisions & Workflow

Projects include a structured revision process. Revision rounds are intended for design refinements rather than major structural changes. Extensive redesign requests beyond the agreed scope may require additional fees.

 

Communication & Collaboration

Clear and timely communication helps maintain workflow efficiency. Providing consolidated feedback rather than multiple fragmented requests ensures a smoother design process and faster progress.

 

File Delivery

Final files are delivered in publishing-ready formats suitable for print and/or digital platforms, according to the project agreement.
