An average of 2,500 books is published daily in the world. About a third of it is self-publishing books. In an environment where competition is so fierce, you certainly do not want your book, which you have worked hard for months to get ready for publication, to be lost among those. No matter how excellent the content of your book is, if it does not have a good design, it will neither satisfy the reader nor meet the large masses. Well, I am here to help you.

Book Interior Layout (Typesetting)
Interior layout (typesetting) requires at least as much attention and care as the cover design. Issues such as page structure, font selection, paragraph arrangement, imagery selection, and usage directly affect the book's readability. They cannot be left to the hands of ready-made templates.

I’m Olivier Darbonville.
I am a bookworm who loves to explore the worlds in the pages. And also a freelance book designer. For 20 years.
It was in 1996 when I made my first "design" by Microsoft Word for the school magazine. Many things have changed since then: computers, software, tastes, choices... But my love of design is always there, still alive, and keeping to change my life.
I love book layouts because I love books ! It was not by chance that I began designing book interiors as I’m a hopeless bookworm. You know, a worm needs a place to live within. Likewise, I need books to breathe. Don’t underrate what typesetters do. Authors write books, and we get them ready for parade ! Nobody wants to see a beautiful model in an ugly dress.
I began designing as a hobby, now it is a passion for me.
